• Write a 700-word Book Report (Diary Entry). Details here. (PRINTED)
• Study for the 1st Written Activity: Argumentative Essay! 
• Read and print the following 3 articles:
• Article A = Indicators for Sustainable Cities
• Article B = Ecosystem Services and Biodiversity
• Article C = UN Environment - Mexico
• Check into account the feedback from your previous assignments.
• Here are 3 sample argumentative essays.
• Remember the following:
• Do not include your opinions nor thoughts.
• No phrases with "I" or "We" are allowed.
• Use appropriate connectors such as: however, thus, therefore, moreover, furthermore, wrapping up, despite of, likewise, due to, etc.
• Include references within your text and at the end of your text.

• Every (3) body paragraph must follow the structure =
• Argument (idea to defend/support)
• Illustration (facts, statistics, definitions, from sources)
• Explanation (how illustration data supports your argument; this is the longest part of the paragraph)
• Prepare for the Oral Exam (students who could not take it last class)

Hello Amazing Students!

NEXT CLASS IS THE CANS RECYCLING CAMPAIGN!!

Try to rinse the cans before smashing them.
Put them all smashed cans in a bag labeled with a tag with the following information:

• Student's name
• Teacher's name
• Classroom

In case you have forgotten, let us remind you the Homework for next class:

• Bring the needed material for your own 3D-model and more ideas about your nation.
• Send your 2nd version of the Argumentative Essay to your teacher by Tuesday 5:00 pm the latest. Remember:
• Add References (APA style) at the end and within the essay
• All citations either with quotes or paraphrased must be referenced.
• All body paragraphs must have the following structure: argument + illustration + explanation
• Read the next chapters of the Reading Book (up until chapter 3 at least)
• Prepare for the Oral Exam (proper pronunciation and linkers)

Miss Aracely's class: 

- Create a crossword/word search or any other activity with the definitions of 10 words in the articles and bring copies for the class.
